Without a day-of coordinator, you’ll spend too much money for things
not to go right. Day-of Coordinating is where you do the planning and
Wendee is the on-site implementer and assistant. The result: you get to
enjoy your wedding day with your family and friends instead of working.
Prior to your wedding, Wendee is a resource to you during your
planning, providing you with tips, templates and vendor referrals.
You’ll have the resources of an experienced planner without the
expense. Prior to your wedding, Wendee confirms your arrangements with
vendors and charts your processional and recessional. On your wedding
day, she is the point-of-contact, troubleshooting, synchronizing the
set-up, and bringing an emergency kit. Wendee also executes your
sequence of events pointing you, your families and attendants to the
right places at the appropriate times. All of her past clients
consistently say, “It is the best wedding investment they made!”
About Wendee
Wendee is a designated Professional Bridal Consultant ™. She earned her
Bachelors in Communication from Iowa State University and a Masters in
Education from Colorado State University. Her earlier career included
being an assistant to two wedding coordinators at Keystone Resort, a
Communications Manager and a Director of Catering. Wendee spent most of
her mid-career as a medical-education meeting planner, traveling all
over the U.S. developing and implementing multiple logistics
(marketing, registration, travel, material production, budgets, audio
visual, F&B, etc.) for pharmaceutical sponsored continuing medical
education programs. After years of professional experience, Wendee
founded Finesse Events in 2001, a full-service wedding planning
company. Following the recent sale of Finesse, Wendee is now a high
school teacher, an independent meeting planner for various industries,
and a wedding day-of coordinator. She specializes in on-site
management, consulting and conducting providing quality wedding
coordinating services. She is based out of the Denver area, but has
traveled all over the world for work. Her distinctive skills are her
immense knowledge of locations and vendors, the ability to understand
client’s desires and hopes, thoroughness and attention to detail – all
with a warm and friendly approach. Her hobbies include trail running,
painting, biking, gardening, snowboarding and telemark skiing.
