Atmosphere
Tibet’s is a warm, safe, accepting, and friendly place to meet with friends, family, co-workers, and clients over a great meal! It is a great place to escape stress, regain your balance, as well as nourish your body and soul. All of us at Tibet’s believe in peace and harmony and putting good energy and a smile into everything we do. Our photos lining the walls are of actual Tibetan people in daily life. The photo of a child spinning a prayer wheel is a scene one might see each morning as many wheels are then spun in preparation for the day to come. The flat screen television shows pictures of Tibet, from daily living to special events, to the highest of the mountain tops, and the quiet inner beauty of a child’s smile. Our music is from Tibet, and helps to calm the stress and raise your spirits!
Chef
Our chef, Uttam, (said ‘ohh-tam’) spent 14 years in a monastery as a chef. He’s cooked for many prominent people, including His Holiness the 14th Dali Lama Tibet. He is an accomplished chef in Tibetan cuisine. He is fluent in Nepali and also speaks Tibetan and English. His staff is well trained and bring positive energy into every meal they make.
Owners and Staff
Tibet’s is owned by Kami Sherpa and Pasang Sherpa, both of whom are from Nepal. They employ a staff of positive servers who also embrace Tibetan values and strive to create the best environment possible for you to enjoy your meal, conversations with friends and family, and have much success in business!
Tibet’s Goals
At one time Tibet was a very remote culture hidden high in the mountains. Winds of change have scattered its people across the world. Here we are offering a piece of this beautiful culture to preserve it for todays and future peoples. By dining here you are helped to preserve Tibetan culture through participating in an ancient culture of community sharing of meals and goodwill. Also, a portion of the proceeds are donated to the Colorado Tibetan Culture association which helps promote Tibetan culture here in Colorado.
We are bringing our home to you and want this to be your home too!
So spin the prayer wheels clockwise on your way in or take a moment to admire the beautiful banners representing the elements of life. Enjoy your meal and realize that you are participating in an ancient culture of sharing and creating good karma in your life!
