Linda Klecha is one of Colorado's finest mural artists. She has over 30 years experience in the art field, and has 20+ years experience painting murals for public, commercial, and private clients. Her work ranges from realistic to whimsical and abstract concepts, on interior or exterior walls. She is flexible, versatile and has a gift for giving people the vision they imagined on their walls.
Her custom art services include Murals, Trompe L'Oeil, Faux Finishes, Custom Designed Stenciling, Decorated Screens and Furniture, Portraits as well as commissioned paintings.
In September, 1999 Linda became a single parent through divorce. In order to broaden her skills, she enrolled at The Art Institute of Colorado for her degree in Graphic Design. Soon after, she was invited to paint Murals at The Colorado Parade of Homes.
Linda has worked as a freelance illustrator doing Ad Layout, Newsletters, Brochures, Business cards and letterhead, as well as some Cover Art for CD's and Book covers. The list also includes Logos , corporate packages, package design and POP design.
Linda is proficient in Typography, Layout, Image Manipulation, 3D Modeling, Web Design, Signage, Marketing Collateral and Business forms of all kinds. Software used is Adobe Illustrator, Image Ready, Quark Xpress, Power Point, Word, Cinema 4DXL and also proficient in HTML Coding and some Java.
The murals created by Linda Klecha are unique and custom designed for each space. Any theme is possible but requires an in-depth evaluation of the project. Floor plans, color schemes and style of decor are considered.
Some murals or Trompe L'Oeil are painted directly onto the surface at the site. Other times the painting is done on canvas or specially prepared boards for installation. The type of paint used depends on several factors. The substrate, interior versus exterior, sunlight exposure, and other environmental conditions are considered.
Work is carefully executed to produce quality, durable art and maintain the highest of professional standards. Every effort is made to work within time limitations, but since all work is custom painted and created on a first come, first serve basis, and please allow ample time for scheduling.
Our surroundings are an extension of our personalities, real and imagined. With murals we can magically transform an environment to our personal taste. Custom murals can expand horizons, bring the outdoors in, hide a blank wall, or create a window to an imaginary world.
